The manufacturing division at ASH Plastics is based in a 20,000 sq. ft. facility which is packed with state of the art features such as CNC laser cutters, thermoforming facilities, PVC bending equipment and drape moulding equipment. The team working this equipment is made up of engineers and technicians with more than 100 years’ worth of experience between them, and everything we manufacture is delivered in line with the ASH Plastics ethos of excellence, quality and value for money.
Bespoke industrial crates
The size and scope of our manufacturing base enables us to deliver industrial components across a wide range of sectors. From precision parts for use in the automotive and defence industries to larger scale items such as industrial part protection components , we can design and manufacture components at speed and in bulk without sacrificing the extremely high quality of each individual item.
Items such as industrial crates might be needed in a standard configuration, or the details of the goods to be stored within them might call for a bespoke design.
Typically made from HDPE and Hot Welded for additional strength are ideal for handling and protecting components within the manufacturing process, and are made to suit the customers specific requirements.
Design & manufacture
No matter what is needed, we work in close partnership with the client to establish exactly what is needed, and if a bespoke solution is required we begin the process by turning the initial brief into a detailed drawing using Alphacam 3 Axis CAD/CAM software.
This drawing then forms the basis of the manufacturing process, with the relevant techniques being combined to create the industrial crate each individual client is looking for.
The size of our facility, coupled with the expertise of our team and the investment we’ve made in technologically advanced equipment, means that we can work at speed and deliver to scale, meeting the largest orders within tight deadlines without the quality of the finished item being compromised in any way.

Following manufacturing we can handle distribution and delivery thanks to a warehousing and logistics division which is as ambitious as our design and engineering capabilities.
Our access to a global network of procurement partners means that we can also source items from other manufacturers when needed, with the promise being that all of our partners work to the same extremely high standards as ASH Plasics.
