Line Bending

As part of our manufacturing process, we make use of many techniques, one of them is line bending. It is a manufacturing process used to create bends within a sheet of plastic. It is a type of thermoforming, and it is invaluable when creating point of sale displays and leaflet holders, both of which require precise and defined lines.

We use a whole array of specialist equipment to bend various types of point of sale and display products from small POS ticket holders up to large hygiene screens and more. We can create products to your specification and support you through the design stage right through manufacturing, right down to on time delivery to your site.

The manufacturing process is very precise and various types of plastics can be used in this process. Material is placed over a wire that is heated by passing an electric current through it. This produces heat. The material is then carefully bent into a new position using carefully applied pressure. Many types of products can be made like this, and it is particularly useful when making POS products like leaflet holders and machine guards.
